Our son has finished his tour in Afghanistan and not only back in the USA but back in Texas!! We can't see him for another week at the "welcome home" ceremony. So proud of him and sending prayers for all our troops to come home safely.

Our other son has been living in Bulgaria for four years. He will move back to Texas with his wife and year old daughter (grand daughter we have not met in person), a week after his brother gets back. They will both live in the Austin area and we are so glad to have them all close again.

Fantastic and to have him so close by, too. Thank him for his service to our country and his commitment to his family and the military. Land of the free because of the brave!!

I am so happy for you and your rejoined family! Austin is a fabulous place for young people -- lots of opportunity, things to do, lower cost of living, competitive shopping, sights to see -- they'll love it. And if you can bear I-35, you can get there in 4 hours for a lovely visit. Great year ahead for all of you!
