When I go to a quilt show, I buy a pin that represents the show.
They are all so pretty and they have the name and the year of the show. it is a little reminder of the day.
How many others collect them?

that sounds like a good idea. I did not know the shows had them. I have only been to one. But i have started looking up the show and i will start collecting.

I used to collect them and put them on our guild chatelaine, but now no one wears those anymore & so I put most of them on the grab table at guild. I only kept a few that had block patterns of things that I had also made. They were about $5 each so decided to spend that money on a fat quarter instead.

I always ask if a quilt show has one and get it. I attended 12 years at the Houston Quilt Show and got one every year except 1996. They said they only make 10,000 and they were gone the first night-preview night. Tried for a while to find one somewhere but finally gave up. I collect all types of pins from everywhere I go and quilt pins if its a block I've made---or too cute to pass up.

I try to, but lately they are not making them around here. If they do, they are only for SHOW workers...I miss getting pins!
