Default Barn Quilts..

In our local newspaper, they had an article on Barn Quilts in Shawano County.. they gave a link and it shows some of the different ones.. shows I think 50 of them..they have a total of 160 done so far.

(I just noticed.. they show all.. just have to click on different links for them)

Hope you enjoy looking..

Click on the link.... then click on barn quilts..

These are beautiful. I've seen them in PA, too.

Love those barn quilts. We had a lady do a show on barn quilts at one of the local Quilts Guilds. It was very informative.

Wonderful! Such fun to see 50 barns with barn quilts!

I've been to Shawano by plane - but never left the airport. We went to the fly-in in Oshkosh for 17 years, and once during the week we would fly aboout a dozen antique planes to Schawano. They hosted a great breakfast for us, and in the early years (before people decided it wasn't safe) we tried to give all the little kids a chance to sit in the pre-WWII airplanes. It was a lot of fun for everyone.

Thank you for sharing. My hubby and I love going and looking at these. We did a trail in Oh and one here in MI. The search to find them was as much find as seeing them when you did.

That's awesome! For about 2 years I've wanting to do a barn quilt! My girlfriend says I can do one on her barn, but she wants to pick out the pattern. I will be seeing her tonight...and will approach the subject! Thanks for the inspiration!
