I got a Bernina 830 for free the gal was going to get rid of it so she told my husband he could just have it.It's a little bit dirty and banged up but sews perfect. the only thing is it didn't have a manual with it and can't seem to figure out how operate some of the buttons and dials. If anyone happens to have a manual ,case, our extra feet please let me know i'd be happy to buy them I can't believe she was just letting the kids play with it on the porch and was going to toss it .I'm such a lucky person. It's called a Bernina 830 Record Electronic. Thanks Sandy

Your best bet would be to locate a Bernina dealer in your area. They should be able to get you a manual/parts/feet/etc for it, as well as give it a good cleaning.

Bernina USA site has a dealer locator:

The 830 Record is a very desirable machine. You are indeed very lucky!

You could also do a search here to see who has the same machine. I bet they would be happy to answer some questions for you.

Also, it would be a good idea to add "Record" to the title of this thread so people won't think it's the new, latest and greatest 830.

I have an older Bernina, a 180E that I got used last year and I just love that machine. Bernina's are known for doing beautiful free motion quilting and mine sure does!

Try typing in 830 Bernina manual and see what pops up. My son printed out one for his wife's machine for free.

I have this machine and bought it new in 1976. If you have specific questions, PM me. I was offered $450 sight unseen by a dealer last week who has a waiting list for this machine. I only bought a new machine because I wanted more harp space.
