I got to pick my daughter up at the airport tonight as she came home from a six-month deployment to Afghanistan!!! Who can top that as a birthday gift? Not to mention, she also had a beautiful hand-made Afghan rug made for me...she chose the patterns and colors. I'll take a picture soon and post it here, but I'm just so happy she is home safe!!!
