I too, had a huge box of paper dolls. I could play with them for hours although I really enjoyed just sitting on my bed and cutting out all the clothes. Once my younger sis got mad at me and took a couple of my favorites and 'drowned' them in the bathroom sink. Mom rescued them and dried them out. Wish I still had them all but I think in one of our later family moves, they might have somehow got tossed out as not necessary. I do remember when they quit putting Betsy in the magazine, too. Gone are the days.. :-(

I remember playing with Betsy McCall paper dolls for hours and hours. The website brought a smile to my face bringing back the memories. I didn't have to sit through the perm each fall, my hair was so curly my mother could hardly get a brush and comb through it!
