I was standing at the kitchen sink cleaning up after making mayhaw jelly and I looked out of my window and there was robin in my bird bath. Then another robin. Oh my, maybe spring is right around the corner. Yea. As I stood there for about 5-10 minutes looking out while cleaning up, I saw a couple of blue jays, purple finch, sparrows, titmouse, and a mockingbird. I will say that today is the first mild day (south Louisiana) that we have had in a couple of weeks. What a pleasant sight.

I can't wait to see my first robin here in Iowa. I think I may have a long wait though.

I love to watch birds too! We have a bird bath right off our patio, have a sliding glass door, we have had 2 inches of slow rain today, and ALL the birds have been on a feeding frenzy! Same kinds you mentioned, except I have yet to see robins where I am now..but, the cardinals and bluejays, dove, titmouse, wrens and hummingbirds are going crazy! I threw out some lint from the dryer the other day, it was so cold, and they like to make nests with it...happy bird watching! It is so entertaining at breakfast!
