I was turning off the porch light and for whatever reason glanced outside the door. Near one of the rockers there was this little guy, huddled up. I stepped out the door figuring he'd fly off, but he didn't. He didn't move an inch as I walked up to him. I knew right away something had to be wrong. I carefully picked him up, looked him over and didn't see any injuries, not that that means there isn't any though. I set him up on the window ledge, hopefully out of the notice of any critters tonight. Something obviously is wrong, I just hope he'll be okay.

I would have brought him in out him in a cage and fed him for a few days but that is just me!

At first I thought about bringing him in but I have a cockatiel and if this bird is sick I don't want my bird to get ill as well. (I washed my hands very well when I came in) He may not have something that is contagious, but I don't want to take the chance.

It's still a baby and doesn't know any better. It looks like a cardinal.
