Birds

Does anyone have a pattern to make stuffed birds that can be used to hang on a Christmas tree? Is it as simple as making 2 template pieces and sewing them right sides together? Would appreciate a photo if anyone has.

I never thought to google it.
There are so many ideas and so many to choose from.
The felt bird links are good, too. I may do both fabric and felt.
