Those birds are beautiful and think they could just fly in the house. I love birds we have many birdfeeders and houses but we don't have any birds like that outside.Sue

Our house is a highset, so too high for snakes to slither in and the doors on the steps are flyscreened security doors although we've had snakes in the house coming through the window from the roof (probably gone up there to feed on green frogs) but thanks God they weren't venimous ones but still gave us a fright and it doesn't happen all too often

Looking at your photos brought back wonderful memories of all the birds and wildlife there. Do you have a problem with cane frogs there? When visiting up around Cairns I seem to remember cane frogs on roads....and the stingers in the water around December, too. Lots of interesting wildlife there! Absolutely gorgeous country, too.

Thank you both for posting your beautiful bird pictures ... The varieties in nature are amazing and capturing them on photos is tough - ya'll have great shots!
