Default Breaking Bad

Was anyone else out there hooked on Breaking Bad?
Were you happy with the series finale?
I wanted to know what happened to the rest of Walt's money. Didn't the Arian bad guys still have most of it? One of them said something about "don't you want to know where the money is" before the all got mowed down.

i loved breaking bad, your right he never got the rest of the money. i was happy with the ending walt made sure his kids were getting the money. i was disappointed with skylar, walt loved her so much ( of course he went to far but he wanted his family taken care of) i also thought that jessie should have died too

We just finished the 1st five seasons last night. We haven't seen season six at all.

But it's certainly interesting and quite dramatic. I read that they are now auctioning off Skyler's jeep, Walt's Aztec and Jesse's hoopdi. And Walt's whitey tidys as well as a few other props.

We (hubs and I) are sad that it came to an end.

Anyone else notice how Marie almost ALWAYS wore purple?
and her home decor was purple?

I LOVE purple it is my favorite color but I DO think there are
limits to how much should be used in the decor LOL.

Skyler made me mad with the way she treated Walt. Made me want
to reach in the screen and pull her hair to get her attention LOL.

I can't really feel sorry for Skyler. I did until she got involved with the whole laundering of the money by buying the car wash. Remember, she wanted Walt to get rid of Jesse. Everything from the very beginning were as the result of Walt's actions.
"Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive".
Walt killed any love she had left for him after his last phone call to her. He said such horrible things to her.

I have never watched this show, nor will I if I can help it. I do know the premise, how not too with everyone on Televison babbling on how great it is. I worked for more than 20years in the area of child protection. I have seen up close and personally how methamphetamine, and drug use in general can and does everyday wreak havoc on children and their families. I have held an infant in my arms and watched as waves of tremors confounded his body. I have tried in vain to explain to his mother how her meth use during pregnancy caused his, physical and possible mental, vision, and hearing defects. He would need intensive services for most of his childhood. She could not accept this nor could she stop using meth, he was lost to her and placed into the foster care system...best outcome would be that he could be adopted by a family that could and would deal with his on going issues. So no I don't think this is entertainment, nor do I find it amusing that some candy makers are presenting a "blue Meth" candy for children. Methamphetamine is a devastating drug, maybe worse in it effects than Opiates and hallucinogens combined. Why would I want, even passively, support a media enterprise that makes meth seem like a harmless hijink drug. I also do not support comics that present a joke about taking Meth. Would you find a program about the realities of this drug use and manufacture so amusing? I hope not because for twenty years I watched that show up close and personally. The toll drugs took on children and families will haunt me forever.

Ditto. However, a number of my friends just can't wait to get the final series...to each his own.
