I sure hope I can learn and do great things with mine as you girls do! So far its been fun, I have my 6 year old Bernina in for service (first time letting it go) felt like I was letting my kid with strangers! thats why my husband talked me into buying the Embrodery machine, he said he wanted to keep his sanity! but I assured him, it is not contagious!

No, your right, I'm not sewing but I am "cutting up!" cutting strips for my log cabin scrap quilt and butterflies for my next quilt!!! so much fabric, so little time hugs to all my quilt and sewing pals!

I had a Brother PE150, 3500D, and now an Innovis 4000D and love/loved them all. I'm sure you'll be happy!

I took out three on-line subscriptions to some embroidery design sites and have been playing and playing with new designs. I really like the applique designs. One good site is http://www.embroiderydk.com and http://www.designsbysick.com . I also LOVE The designs at http://www.emblibrary.com and http://www.bunnycup.com .

I also went through Metro threads and ordered all the mini-spools so I would have plenty of colors of thread to use. They are by far the cheapest thread I've found and it is good quality for embroidery.
MistyMarie, thank your for the info!

thanks Connie, thats the exact same one Early Lace has, she loves it and it does Disney, I didn't get the Disney and wondering if I should have but I can get the cards to put in to do Disney, have two Grandchildren close by five total, but three little ones. I thank you for showing me that is nice.

My cousin has a Brother Innovis 4500D Duetto. She is having trouble with the embroidery work bunching up. She is using good fabric and some stabilizer and a hoop. Anyone have expertise in this?

I had that problem last week. While playing around with the dog feeders ( A No No), I moved the bobbin holder inside the machine, and so it was not aligned correctly. Make sure the bobbin holder is flushed with the rest of the mechanism. Hope you find the answer soon.
