Burner Bib discovery

Ok, I hate my stove. There I've admitted it in public. It can't be left attached to the electric because the auto start burners snap all the time. As near as we can figure out, it's the draft from the heat/ac that causes it. So we light them with matches and live with the snapping to use the oven.

But, my discovery today has to do with way too deep and hard to clean burner bibs. I was trying to clean 'em and decided to take a sponge put some hot water into them and let 'em sit for an hour or so. And whatta ya know, they cleaned up much better without a bunch of scrubbing!
