46% off my groceries today!!
#1
I watched a couple episodes of "Extreme Couponing" on TLC the other day and was convinced that I could do it... So after a little research and printing online coupons, I went to the grocery store today. Sure enough, with my coupons and instore discounts, I managed to save myself 46% or over $50!!! I had two thoughts afterwards (in addition to the smile that was plastered all over my face) 1. I'm never going grocery shopping without coupons again. 2. I'm going to have a lot more money for fabric! HAHA :)

Unfortunately, I can't use coupons. I never eat boxed things, canned sometimes. But mainly fresh stuff that actually looks like it's supposed to.
Besides, I don't have TV. I do have one, but I got mad at that music talent show in about 2003 and cancelled the cable. I can watch Videos or CDs though, when I want to, which is about 2 or 3 times a year. Nice and quiet around here.
But if that is what you generally buy, then might as well get it as cheaply as possible. Good work, now go and sew. Go and get more fabric, and enjoy!

We shop at Wal Mart and they price match so I really don't use coupons. I can hardly ever find any for the things I buy and I refuse to buy something I don't use just because I have found a coupon. We also buy store brand of the items that are tasty or just as good as name brand such as over the counter medications. I will call a company and ask for coupons on the items I don't want to get generic for such as diebetic Boost which my DH drinks when he is on Chemotherapy and can't tolerate food. I would love to use coupons more often, but can't usually find what I need.
