Last night we (my Mom, Dad, brother and me) went to a local pub, The Whittington, for their yearly vintage car meet. We are very much a car family, my Dad has restored two vintage cars in his lifetime, and we still own one of them, so he took it along.

It was a lovely evening, we had a nice meal then enjoyed the sun outside and admired the cars. There was a jazz band playing too, which was great.

There were also some ADORABLE little horses in the field next door, which I got some pics of too. Maybe the experts here can tell me if they are Shetland Ponies or Minature Horses? We weren't sure.

Hope you enjoy the photos. This one is my Dad's car:

Thanks for the pics. Are those Morgans(car)? No Healys?

Nice cars! Love them!
I'm not sure if those are Shetlands or mini horses. Karla or Kay would know better.

Your Dad did a really good job on his car! Aren't they fun? My family also is into old cars. My Gramps has a '37 Chev that looks a bit like your Dad's.

Nice car show Mary! Tell Dad that his car is awesome  :D

According to the American Miniature Horse Association, a miniature is based on height "Size: Must measure not more than 34 inches at the withers, at the last hairs of the mane." So, depending on how tall they are, they could be both Shetlands AND Miniatures, as some of Kay's horses are. In any case, they sure are cuddly looking, aren't they? :D
