I bought some new tops that I really like, but the bottom of the v-neck ends around my bra line in front. I would like to wear them to work, but I do NOT want to put the puppies/ladies in the front display...

Does anyone have a camisole pattern that I can buy to sew? (I can't seem to find any in the stores right now...)

You don't need a Camisole for this. I saw recently (Don't remember WHERE) a simple piece of fabric with lace on it. It went from bra strap plastic holder to the other bra strap holder, with a thin sort piece that went around the front of it and buttoned on the back piece of each side. It fell in the front to below the bar/neckline, and looked cute. It LOOKED like a Dickey, and I suppose was one.

You said "tops" which I take to mean blouses, shirts, etc. This would call for a thinner fabric for the top of the girls, like the above. Under jackets it is something different.

But under a suit jacket you would want a thin blouse or, in the case of never removing the jacket, a Camisole would work nicely and look rather old fashioned and lady-like.

WalMart is selling a filler like Ramona Byrd just described. Much less confining than a camisole. Can you tell I'm claustrophobic? It wouldn't be hard to make. Shaped kind of like a tumbler block with little straps the snap around your bra straps.

I bought one of these and can't for the life of me remember the name of the catalog. It's a very pretty piece of lace in a trianglar shape. It works very nicely and doesn't add extra clothing. Mine is dark brown.

Found the lace dickeys for you.

Go to http://www.carolwrightgifts.com and search for Item 48409 also Item 83471.

Hope this can work for you - easier than making one.
