Can It Really Be Spring?

Can It Really Be Spring?
It's about 7:18 pm here in Manchester. The furnace just kicked on. It was a cold, blustery, partly cloudy day with a passing snow flurry. Yet, I just heard a Robin singing. Oh, I do hope Spring is here!

Fairly decent day here in SC. Will sleep with my bedroom window open again tonight. Time to get my golf clubs in for new grips and a nice clean up. Will go down on Thursday but will be short and nice again over weekend.

My heat has been on everyday since sometime last fall--turn it down at night. I sleep with the window open at least a crack unless it's the teens or lower. My crocuses bloomed Easter Sunday. The birds have been waking me up in the morning for the past week, though I haven't seen a robin yet. Daffodils, allium and daylilies are coming up. There are a few buds on the daffs, so spring is coming. Sunny here today, mid 40s, warming through the end of the week, so I guess spring really is coming, though slowly. I can't wait!!!

72 here today, the daffodils are finished, the tulips and forsythia are in full bloom, only two irises. The hummingbirds came back today mad as h*## that there was no nectar. They dive bombed me to let me know they were back.

Woke up to total white outside. Had a doctor appt to go to and if I didn't have a big deisel truck with 4 wheel drive I wouldn't have gone. Got to doctors and there wasn't any snow, other peoples vehicles weren't covered with snow and ice. What did the snow storm only happen at my house? Nope from few miles south of our home to many miles north it's been really bad winter weather today. If there are any robins around here they are now ice cubes. Everytime my dog went outside to do his business he came in totally white, which considering he is black isn't a good thing. Easter Sunday my crocus' were blooming, now they are buried under snow. I want SPRING now......................
