Default Can you explain why.......?

Hi Guys,

Can anybody explain why.... when I was 20, if I caught a cold I could still go out an dance all night yet now that I am in my 40's.... a silly cold can make me feel like death warmed up!

This week I have been so tired, groggy and yuckkie that I haven't even had the inclination to sew!!!!!!

Oh to be 20 again!

Hugs

You and me both, but I think If I was twenty again I would make some changes.

Hey, I'd take 40 again. I've also been fighting a cold this week. Hate to tell you but it'll be even harder in 20 years.

I spend alot of time trying not to get sick! I haven't had a bad cold in years but I do remember having the worse colds and flu when I was a child. The older I get the better I feel. Don't have any of the kids around to pass on their ills from school. Do you take vitamins? Try taking some Echinacea a couple of weeks at a time for a few months to build up you immunity. But wait until you're not sick any more to start. At the onset of anything I double down on it for a few days and it seems to knock whatever is trying to get me. I love the more natural remedies.

It's not just you . I just turned 40 a couple weeks ago. This isn't even the worst cold ever, I'm just achy and tired and still have kids to take care of
Feel Better!!

Just wait until you get to your mid 60s. 40s was a piece of cake - I got colds ans they lasted about 2 weeks, just like now but, really didn't phase me, now I feel bad for several days.
