Have a Husqvarna Limited Edition type 400 having alot of trouble with making buttonholes. For some reason when it does the second part of the stitch it stops and knots up under the fabric. Any help appreciated. I don't have a manual for it. Thanks again

Are you using interfacing? I have problems if I don't. I have a Designer 1 and a Freesia. I don't know your machine.

Yes Jeri is right. I have a viking D1 and a viking Lily and always use interfacing under the material I am making a buttonhole with. This way, the thread won't knot up...
