Level 49 was easy for me, you just had to get a nut and cherry to the bottom. Is it maybe a different level she is stuck on? You can Google your Candy crush level and watch someone solve it.

I think you may need to check the level number again. Level 49 does not have a jelly square in the center.

You probably need to get that jelly square by getting one of those striped candies to shoot through that column or row.

Oops sorry it is game 45. This is a free game available on iPod, iPad and who knows what else. Yes, I can see how one could get obsessed with it. I did a few of them and then realized how they work....want you to buy ... For only .99 or ask friends on Facebook....I don't belong on that, so I deleted it...but she hasn't yet!

You can get that center jelly with one of the striped candies going through it, or with one of the dotted candies exchanged with one of the same colored candies.

You can play the game without ever paying any money, or without ever asking anyone on Facebook for extra lives. I have never done either one and I am on level 137. I would never pay money to play one of those games. They are fun, and can be somewhat addicting, more so for some than others. Certainly not worth losing a job over! Jeesh!
