Default can't keep warm

this is what I use when it gets cold here in Florida. lol

It is a fake fur that I got on sale at Joann's. It's 60 inches wide. I only paid 9.00 for the
whole piece.

It's warm, but if you use the fur against your skin it can get real warm. The dark brown is
a soft leathery side.

My cat would take that over fast. Very pretty and you got a great deal.

I love the feel of it! I wondered though about my cats taking it over when I'm not using it!?! Lol

Cool !! kidding. well not really. it's pretty too. I got a faux fur for xmas but it's cool on the underside and slides like crazy.

I made a couple of throws for DS and DDIL for their cabin by the lake by using the faux fur like you have and backing it with the warmest fleece I could find.

So I went back to the good old JC quilt last night and woke up toasty warm this morning. This been a real eye-opener for me. I had no idea that quilts did not keep you warm. Our pioneer ladies must have known something that we don't. Wish I knew what it was.
