Car in a Hit and Run
#1
At about 12:30 AM my Mom woke me up and told me to call the police my car had been hit. Well the cop and wrecker are gone now, and I am without a car. Good news is, I was parked legally on the street and I have full coverage. Some folks on the street came and told the police it was a white Ford 250 extended or crew cab truck with orange lights on top of it and it looked like a company work truck. The wrecker guy was able to move the metal and fiberglass away from the rear drivers tire to drive it to get it on the wrecker. They do not believe it is totaled. That is good. It does not even have 51,000 miles on it and I bought it new in August 2003. I had planned to drive that car for over 100,000 miles. I like not having a car payment. I had the security set and it did not go off since the doors did not open, not even the hatch. I will post pics tomorrow when I get them downloaded. Hope I get back to sleep soon, but my mind is running 90 miles and hour. Thanks for listening.

Well im glad you werent hurt. Some people nowadays dont have the empathy or honesty to leave their name and number. I bet he gets caught. I had my Ford F-250 ( NO it wasnt me lol) legally parked and a guy ran right into my hubcap breaking it but the cop was the one that left me a note on his business card. Thats one time the cop was there when they were needed. Not to down police i thoroughly support them!! The other good news is you will have a car! Just will take a bit then u can get 200,000 miles out of it.

I so know how you feel! I just got my car back a week ago. Someone had ripped the ignition switch completely out trying to steal the car! Now its on the way back to the shop on Monday. My daughters fiancee hit it in her driveway! Thank God for rentals! I'm glad no one was hurt.

Sorry to hear about your car!
The same thing happened to my son when he was in college in Boston. He went out in the morning to go to class and found his car sandwiched. It was pushed from behind into another car. It was a third of it's original size.
Hit and run! How can people just drive away?
Hope things work out for you!
