I have never heard of "castile" soap. I want to try out a recipe for a dish soap and it calls for Castile soap. Can anybody
give me "BRAND" name of castile soap. Any help is greatly
appreciated. Thanks.

I don't think it is a brand name, it is just a type of soap :D:D:D

Here is a site for what castile soap is.

I remember you use to be able to buy "Castile" soap in with the other soaps. It was in a plain white wrapping with red lettering I think. It had "Castile Soap" no name brand.

I'm pretty sure that Trader Joe's still carries a castile soap

most grocery stores have it. label is white and it's in the regular bar soap display area. i used to use it when very young to wash my hair because it was so oily. it's a nice gentle soap.and it is named Castile soap. easy to find.

If you happen to have a Cracker Barrel Restaraunt in your area, you can find it there. My husband has some skin problems and doesn't tolerate some soaps and this is one that hasn't caused any problems.
