Default The cat likes to eat... WHAT??

    So.

DH has started feeding the cat dried prunes.

    And she likes them.

    ??

He says that ever since he started feeding her prunes, she has become more affectionate.

    ????

Does anybody know if prunes are harmful for a kitty?

Prunes might help get rid of hair balls!

You might want to check with a vet on that one!

Well thats a new one by me! I would give the vet a call... It's weird what can be dangerous to a pet. Like dogs shouldn't have grapes...

My mom had a cat that ate bananas and I had a cat that loved gin & tonics. We had to watch her when we had parties. Never heard of prunes, though.

Kola likes cashews, chips, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cheese.

She actually chased my husband around the kitchen to get a bite of his PB & J sandwich the other day.
She likes the juice from canned tuna and canned salmon. She doesn't like shrimp or kitty treats.

    I found this list..........

think you will find prunes are ok for cats and dogs - can be used as a natural remedy to help if they have problems with the anal glands but would check to see the recommended amount for your cat as that depends on their weight
