This evening a very odd thing happened to me, Kelly, the cat, at my daughter's karate school jumped right up in my lap while I reading a magazine. I guess your saying, so what that is no big deal. For 7 yrs this cat has be cold, indifferent, and sometimes outright snobby with me when I have attempted to pay attention to her or pet her. I am an animal lover and most animals seem to sense this an immediately seem to like me, but she has been a different case. When my daughter's class was over with I actually had to pull her out of lap. Kelly even began to meow and wimper as I was leaving. Wonder what changed her mind about me tonight?

MMM, I hate to say this. How old is Kelly the cat? My cat, Sadie was rather a nasty one. She didn't much take to anyone.... until a few months ago. Sadie passed 3 weeks ago from cancer. Her temperament really changed during the last week. She greeted people at the door and allowed the kids from across the street to pet her!!!! You must understand, my neighbors didn't know I had a cat! She always hid when people came to the house.

Hope she was just interested in what you had for dinner :)

Sometimes they notice if you aren't feeling well, for whatever reason. Or maybe, as someone said, she isn't feeling well. Hard to tell with cats.
