Does anyone else have this issue? My calico, Diana has developed a taste for my beverages over the years. She just can't resist sticking a paw into an open mug or glass whether it's coffee, pop, milk or anything else. She never gets enough of anything to be harmful but just another example of how my fur baby runs my house.

"She never gets enough of anything to be harmful" -- yes, but think where those paws have been -- YUCK!! I would get some covered mugs and glasses pronto!!

Yes, my kitty has spilled more drinks by sticking her paw in the glass. At first I thought it was just the bubbles in a soda I had but just yesterday it was only water.

My beloved, departed Tigger knocked over every single glass of water he could get his paws on!!! :D:D
I have 5 cats and not one of them does this.
I'll never figure out felines LOL

Mine goes straight to putting his head in my cup. Luckily, I catch him before he gets it all the way. Because of this, I try to use a mug with lids. I love them to pieces but there are some things I do not share. :)

I swear my Chicca just loves to smell hot coffee and tea! She loves to stick her face in and never tries to taste. LOL.

cats are born to be curius so will try anything once, if they like they come back for more, and if you try to take it of them they try harder to keep it, it is cat logic if you like it or try to take it from them it must be good so they hang on harder.

I warned Fiance the first time he came to my apartment when we were first dating--don't leave anything unattended that you actually want to drink. ;) My cat does the same thing! She'll drink right out of the glass if you offer it up to her, and she won't wait for an invitation if no-one seems to be offering one. I don't share back-and-forth with her, but sometimes I'll let her have a sip of my water before I take my glass to the kitchen.

She also sticks her paw in her own water dish and licks it off, and she loves to drink the water in the bottom of the tub after I shower. I tried to discourage that (because EW) but she doesn't want to give it up. I figure if it was all that bad it would taste like soap, so I just let it go. I draw the line at the toilet, though. The first time I caught her sticking her paws in the toilet was when I started leaving the lid down religiously. ;)

My little girl, Ginger, a Jack Russell terrier, loves my green tea! I can't drink a cup of it without her begging for it...LOL
