Cats and Fabric

What is it with cats and fabric...no matter where the fabric is they have to roll in it...driving me crazy...they also need to sit on every made item...and if I am laying them out on the floor they have to drive right in...

My tabby cat always has to sit right on the section of the newspaper I'm trying to read.
And the tortie wants to sleep on my laptop keyboard. For the warmth, no doubt.
The black cat wants to lay right next to where the warm air comes out, and surely that is not good for the computer!
