My dgd Rachel asked to make a case for her cell phone. so I had her look through some fabric I had been gifted with and she found some squares she liked.

She sewed the halves together and then I put in the zipper and finished it. After it was done she wanted a handle on it so I added the Princess ribbon for a handle. She loves it so that is all that matters LOL

She says she wants it so when she doesn't have any pockets she has somewhere to put her phone. That works for me!

Your granddaughter and the cell phone purse are very cute. Although I must say she looks young to have a cell phone. Boy how times have changed, I remember when I was a young girl I wanted to have a phone in my bedroom. Well, that never happened.

She's 11. She and her older brother who is almost 15 have phones. they have to so mom can keep tabs on them. They live in a small to med town and live only a block from the school so they walk to school. This keeps her in touch when they go to the park or walk to friends houses.

Rachel is nuts about cats and has 2 cats. She loves to bug her mom at work. Mom takes care of the family chiro office. so yesterday Rachel texted Meow to her mom and Mom texted back Quack! LOL
It's so cute to see their close relationship. Especially when they go head to head from time to time!! LOL Rachel is just as stubborn as her Mom and gives mom a run for her money!!
