I just picked up a huge ball of that polyester chair twine that was so popular about 10 yrs. ago for weaving designs on aluminum lawn chairs. I am going to try it for making the clothesline and fabric bowls. Has anyone tried it for that? I think that it won't be quite as firm as the clothesline bowls but still make a nice bowl. Any thoughts?

I started one using Macramé yarn. It did work. I just have not finished it yet.

Can you please tell me who makes this. I have been looking to get some to do the chairs with but have been very unsuccessful at finding any. Thanks

Where did you find Macrame yarn? My daughter wants to learn Macrame, she can't even find a book with instructions.
Did find a tut. on line.

I picked up the ball of chair cord without the wrapper at the secondhand store so I don't know the company that makes it.
