I posted this on facebook and will post it here too since it has to do with quilting.

Let me start off by saying that I love my dogs very much and don't know what I would do without them! But....I am very angry with one of them right now but I don't know which one to be mad at b/c I don't know which one did it! How to tell, I will have to watch them outside and see who the culprit is!

This is what one of them did....I started working on Bonnie Hunter's Star Struck pattern. Just taking some time and putting the blocks together and what not in between quilting. Well, last week I put them together to find that I only had 13 blocks. So I got more neautral and some of the others strips out of the pack and started sewing the strips together. Now...much to my hubbys dismay, I use our pool table as a design board. I had some of the blocks laid out and a few on another pile to intermix them due to having to use slightly different fabric for the new blocks due to the dilema I posted a couple days ago looking for a certain fabric. Well, one of them got some of the blocks off the table, don't know how, they are big dogs but still! One of them ate three of the blocks, they're missing...and another one is destroyed! So now out of the 13 I only have 9 left. I am going to have to cut some more b/c now I am still not going to get enough blocks for a lap quilt of Star Struck! Oh, boy, which one did it. Tomorrow should tell!

I guess you might have to wait until the end...if you get my drift...lol.

My puppy was starting to steal my flannel fabric scraps I had. thankfully I put an end to that.

OH NO!!!! How awful :( I never gave it a thought that one of my fur babies would steal my blocks. :( Guess that makes it even better that I have a pet gate that I can keep closed to my sew cave

Oh I feel so bad for you. They both look guilty to me, hehe. If you really need to know, you'll just have to keep checking their...... On a more serious note, watch them for any signs of blockage. If they (he/she) starts vomiting, get to a vet quickly. Fabric can cause some real problems internally. How much did you think this quilt was going to cost????? Best of luck.

 Sorry for laughing, the culprit must be related to Tink...She is guilty of grabbing the end of a strip that is cut for on the quilt and walking out of the room with it. She does this all the time. If a square hits the floor, I better get to it before she does, or I will have to go into the Tink Cave to wrestle it from her. And yes, we have had to pull the fabric out, that is trying to exit...if you know what I mean...

Yes, I am keeping an eye on them. I think that I am going to give each of them their kong balls with some peanut butter them just to help move things along smoothly.

One of my dogs has a thing for thread. Just loves to pull it off the spool. Doesn't eat it mind you, just ruins it. I've lost two or three brand new spools. Anyway, it was a great reminder for me to keep the door to my quilting room closed!

My blocks move all the time. I think I have cut enough squares/triangles etc and then go to sew and where the heck is that... I count recount.. nope recut more squares etc and days later things magically show up (sometimes MOONS later in the back of a closet) my kitty helpers are always up and willing to assist. Especially rearranging layouts of blocks. I apparently know nothing about arrangements. Ask them.

In December, I made one of those wonderful fabric ornament balls. You know the one I mean with squares of fabric and LOTS of pins? Well...... come down one morning and there is styrofoam, fabric and pins all over my living room rug!!! We have three dogs, including our sons's puppy and I'm pretty sure which one did it! We cleaned up the mess and really watched the puppy for a couple of days to make sure she didn't injest pins and end up with issues. I feel your pain....
Don't you just love em!? Errrrrggh :x
