He sounds like a very special, well loved cat. He was lucky that you and your husband took such good care of him. Peace be with you.

Your baby felt your love until the very end. He'll be with you forever. Big hugs coming your way.

those furry little beings just crawl in and take over our hearts! you can't help but love them! i'm sure socks left you with hundreds of stories and memories that you and he created together. he looks like he was a love, and what cat could ask for more than to fall asleep in your arms, surrounded by warmth, love and especially, you. peace, my friend.

I'm sorry you lost your cat. two weeks ago I had to put my five year old cat, Bella Mia to sleep also for heart failure. Your cat and mine were too young to have had heart failure. I am sorry for your loss.

So sorry. My daughter just lost her 1 1/2 yr old due to a heart problem. Husband went in shower & when he came out , he found "Pumpkin" and it was too late. She was diagnosed just 3 days prior. She is nursing another cat (10 yrs old) with heart failure. Take care, he knows he was well loved!

I can't tell you how sorry I am. I know at some point I will lose my Callie but I can't even think about the possibility without crying. He was lucky to have someone who loved him so much.
