My son just brought us some chantrelles. They are so good, I just sauteed them up in a small amount of butter and some salt and pepper. Yum yum. Love this time of year , plenty of mushrooms here. I hope he finds a chicken in the woods again this year.

I love chantrelles ! We visit Newport Or. every couple of years and we always go in Sept. I always make a point in getting some mushrooms from the area. How lucky you are to live there.
