what am i doing wrong? i dbl click on my picture - then go click update avatar - still nothing.

1. Are you sure it isn't there? You have to leave your profile before you can see it.
2. Are you making sure that the file is saved as a .jpg or .gif, etc...?
3. If so, are you making sure that the file name is in the box before you 'update avatar'?
4. When I did it I had trouble the first time until I set my avatar, then logged out of the board and then logged back in....

yes, i thought the file name was in the box - actully, i thought it was the same as attaching a file on an e-mail - i'll do it again

when does your avatar show up? does it show in your user profile? or next time you post?

Should already be there . You should be able to use the browse .. find the pics , then update the avatar section . I wonder if the pic is the wrong file type or too big ?

I'm sorry I can't help you. My daughter put my Avatar on for me and I don't even know how to change it!!!

well, it's .pdf file - i was trying to move it from my camera memory card - now that i'm home i'll try sending from my computer. OH LOOK - i did it.

now - i can go back to my sewing room and put another strip of biscuits on my quilt b/4 i go to bed. boy is that a relief!!! don't know why it wouldn't upload from my camera. go figure!
