I have a Chi mix and he shakes, does the poor me, paw up thing and for a long time after I rescued him fear bit and peed. Despite all that and his bad beginnings, my now "changed" Topo would literally die for me. He is super-protective and always is on alert, especially if we are taking a walk and a stranger comes too close. When he and his big Malamute x adoptive brother are in the garden, I can leave the doors and windows open knowing no-one will step inside our gate with "our boys" on guard.

Tough little guy! I'm just glad they didn't shoot him! I once heard a former burglar turned good guy say little dogs are feared more than big dogs as the little ones are more fearsome (like the one in the video), and bigger ones are more likely to just follow them around.

I have a chi- poo and man is she protective of her.... Car!! Glad the little
Guy wasn't hurt! That's a mighty dog!
