Yip, Dasher, the cat, did it again! Brought in a chipmunk into the sewing room ....I happened to be in here sewing when he came in. This chipmunk was smarter.....I had to take everything up off the floor and out of my way, took everything off the 2 bottom shelves on the bookcase (which was at the end of the cutting table - I have to crawl to get to them) and shut the door and went at it. This old lady is NOT meant to crawl all over the floor chasing a chipmunk!!!! BTW - All the time I was chasing it I was cussing Dasher out --- do you see the blue smoke?????

Oh -- and DH is out of town all week....of course! :?

OH NO    I am sure it is more funny to us, than you...
I think maybe if you dear Dasher is going to keep this up you need to purchase a small humane cage trap for the little furry guys to go into!!! Keep some dry field corn and nuts on hand as bait...or would that make them want to come and visit voluntarily???

We live in the country - surrounded by BLM and National Forest.......too many chipmunks, squirrels, quail, doves and deer to try to trap them! LOL -- Dasher got a stern lecture, I'm SURE he's not going to try this again....  Did someone say they have some swampland for sale???????????

Poor Dasher - not having your hunting prowess rewarded is bound to be a big disappointment. Did you not realize you were to gently braise that critter and serve it up with brandy sauce? As my own tells me, "What part of Meow don't you understand?"

I don't recall "chipmunk" to be one of the names in the song. lol
On Dasher, on Dancer......SORRRRRRRY - couldn't resist

May be the little fellow needed you to make him a itty-bitty jacket with many pockets so he can store his winter stash????? Hey - just trying to help here.

I am blessed with Mr. Bean who takes his supply task very serious as well. (Rat in the kitchen....)

ROLMAO!!! Those are funny responses! A little history -- regarding their names. Dasher and Donner were from a litter of 8 that were turned into the Humane Society when they were 2 months old --- on December 4. We brought those 2 home on December 5. The HS named them for the 8 tiny reindeer. We couldn't come up with any better names!!!!

How long did you pursue that little critter to clear your home of outside critters? They are kinda cute, but NOT inside MY house! :?

About 15 minutes!!!! The worst part wasn't the critter in the house, the worst part was moving everything out of the bookcase and off the floor!!!! I didn't realize how much "STUFF" I have stored!!!!
