Well I have used plain black, plain white, prints, piano keys anything I think the quilt needs heck I sometimes don't even do a border......but mostly it's prints or some kind of pieced border.

    Quilt backs,
As few pieces as possible, or designed to be pieced for more intrest?

as few as possible, but I hand quilt as you go, so all the same fabs, but in rows, usually a print so it doesn't show the seams as much

when making potholders (I am) do you use 100% cotton in the middle or insulabrite?
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.

    I use insulbrite.

Do you ever keep anything you make or do you give it all away?

I keep 99% of what I make. Have made a few baby quilts that I have given as gifts, though.

Crime shows (real or fiction) or sitcoms?

Regular quilting fabrics 90% of time, 10% batiks.

Play sports (tennis, golf, football - I know there are some guys on this forum!. etc.) or quiet exercise like Yoga.
