I would like to try a hooked rug out of wool yarn. But not sure of what kind of wool yarn to use-worsted, blended or pure or another type? This is all new to me. And is there a certain size hook you use and is there a certain weight of yarn? Questions, questions, questions! I have to rely on the QB because I know of noone who does this and there are no classes to take. Thank you.

I think there is special wool rug yarn. You could do an internet search for rug hooking yarn and see what's out there.
