Default Christmas day donation project

This is a 3'x4' lap afghan to be donated to our local cancer treatment center. Most of it was done by knitting machine... the crocheted edging took as long as the center panel LOL

Very pretty.
I donated 5 quilts to oncology Doctor's office a couple of years ago. I thought they would keep someone warm while receiving chemo treatments. The office worker and Nurses kept them. One told me she uses it in her camper.

that is so sad to hear! i hope it does not stop you from continuing to donate to worthy causes.

I give fleece blankets and mini neck pillows to people I know when they go for treatments. The rooms are cold and these are easy to take along. They have appreciated them, they have told me they like having their own blankets/pillows instead of using the facilities. Very nice of you to donate these lovely lap blanket.
