Thanks everyone for the nice comments on the towels I am making for Xmas. To answer some of your questions...I print things that I see - mostly on Pinterest - flower pot from here - flowers from there - etc. etc. and then back the printed paper with 2 or 3 pieces of freezer paper and cut out the pieces which are traced on Heat and Bond and cut out my material pieces. All are then applied to the towel using a zig zag stitch in different widths and lengths. If you would like the measurements I use - sent me an email and I would be glad to send them to you. No, I do not have an embroidery machine. I will send the pattern for the top to you via email should you want it.

These are lovely. I only give gifts to my children and grands and few close sewing friends. They all have everything I can think of to sew for them. LOL
