Default Color run!

So, my fiance and I are trying to get into running as a way to keep ourselves moving after sitting for 8-9 hours a day at our office jobs.

Last weekend, we decided to do the Color Run in downtown Philadelphia, PA. For those who have never heard of it - it's not a traditional 5K. There were SO many people there that it was impossible to actually get a good time, if you wanted to race.. but if you wanted to race, why run the Color Run? It's the happiest 5K on the planet.

There were all ages of people out. The announcer told us that people as young as 6 and as old as 85 were registered and walking or running! It was awesome!!

For anyone who's ever done it - wasn't it awesome????

and for anyone that hasn't done it yet.. why not?!?!

Glad your color run was of a happy kind. When I read the post title, I thought that you had a fabric color bleed. It looks like you will need a color catcher or two in your bath tub.

Sounds like a lot of fun! My DD and SIL are runners, also. It's a great way to stay in shape!

QuiltE, you get colored corn starch thrown at you in different zones on the race! It's a blast and all in all just fun in general

After watching this video, I think safety goggles would be de rigueur as well!
