I like SAS also. Just bought Easy Spirit canvas walking shoes to wear to the big quilt show in MN next month. Very light and comfortable right out of the box. Being canvas they should let my feet "breathe" also. Enjoy your touring.

What shoes would you recommend? I need something comfortable, light weight, and cool.
Thanks for your input.
Clark and Ecco are foot doctor recommended. I wear their sandals year round here in FL after having foot surgery on both feet. Their expensive shoes, but last a long time. Enjoy your trip!

I've had implants, so I wear New Balance. They look awful, but comfortable. That's the name of the game for me.

I started wearing these in 2000. I have tennis shoes, sandles and clogs. If I can can’t wear them—I don’t want to go!<o></o>
Then I found Sloggers a form of clogs, but much softer with arch supports. But they stopped making them!<o></o>

Maybe a pair of Toms? They are comfy, yet stylish. Or maybe a nice pair of Easy Spirit tennis shoes.

My DH and I went to Israel last year and I bought new Ecco running shoes for the trip. My feet never hurt after walking everywhere. They were expensive but worth it. I also like Clarks sandals for bare feet.

I have a pair of berkenstock sandles and a pr. of berk clogs that I wear any time we are going to have to walk. These same two prs have served me for about 20 years. I wear the clogs in winter and the sandles in summer. My feet haven't hurt since I started wearing berkenstocks.

Ecco. These shoes are great. So light you don't know you have them on.

Niki walking shoes are great too.

SAS or my Brooks Arial's. I have bad feet and these are the only things I can wear comfortably.

I wear berkenstock shoes. I have for about 7 years. They are wonderful, my feet haven't hurt since I started wearing them. I wear them every day, I stand 8-10 hrs a day on concrete floors and have no problems with my feet. They are a bit pricey but well worth the money.
