Went to Walmart today and got basting spray by Tailor. Have used it before and was pleased. GUESS WHAT!!!!!!!!!! Was packaged differently and didn't realize why until I got home. What I bought a week ago was 12 oz and the new packaging was 10 oz at the same price. I know they are changing packaging on a lot of products and decreasing the amount of the contents. I knew it was happening a lot but this time I really got perturbed. Also, have you noticed the contents of Coke, Pepsi and whatever else. When will it ever stop?????????

I doubt it will ever stop. It also reminds me of the label "New and Improved" Sure it is! Cost more, and less of it.

At least you can still get the basting spray there. My local WM doesn't sell it anymore. boo hoo

Vendors will pull this trick if they think they can get away with it.

In some places it is a legal requirement for retailers to state the price per gram/oz on the shelf. I have been known to take my calculator with me as well!

Has been going on forever, people complain about when the prices go up and change brands cause something went up.
How many old pound packages of bacon are 12 oz?
Buisness have to find a way to cut expences especially when sales are down.

C.Cal is right, its a never ending story.. Unfortunately the market is so unsteady even when we think its good .. But we live in a free country, and we can eat what , buy what we want, when we want.. Gotta count for something..

Yes, I've noticed that too. Last week i was hostess for my woman's club. I usually have a container of ice with lots of different kinds of sodas. I thought they were small, looked later and they were all 7 and one half ounces!! The price wasn't that much less than the 12 ounce ones..must go check to see if there still are 12 ounce ones available.
