Has anyone tried this electronic band you use around your waist and does it really work?

I would be surprised it it worked. Mfgs. think we are stupid and will believe anything they tell us. It is usually a sales gimmick.

A contraption just like this came out about 15 years ago. It cost $60 and all my friends, including me bought one. (Actually, I bought my friends from her garage sale!) This is a total waste of your money. It works on the premise that the electrical current will cause the muscle to contract, thus causing the muscle to become very tone. First, you can't have any fat tissue (or very little!) because if you do, the electrical impusle isn't going through to the muscle. Secondly, the electrical impulse is not strong enough to contract the muscle and give the results shown in the commercial.
