There are some really funny tales on general chit chat, and I would love tosend some of the jokes to my friends, not on the board. How do i go about it?. I am not very familiar with cut and paste and would love someone to explain it to me, VERY SLOWLY

put you curser infront of the first letter of what you want to cut & paste, put your finger on the left button on your mouse. now with your finger still holding the button down scroll down the page till everything you want to copy has gone blue. then press ctrl & c at the same time. next open a page in notebook or whatever you want to save it into. and click on the blank page, then press ctrl and v at the same time and it should appear on the new page,
hope this helps, to save pictures you will have to ask someone else.

Sall,
I place my cursor at the portion I want to copy. Then left click and hold the mouse down to highlight the text. Then right click and a box pops up, click on copy. Then go to where you want to paste-right click and choose paste. It should paste where you want it. I hope this makes sense...

Why not just send them the link so they can read it for themselves right on this site? You can link to a specific post within a thread by clicking the # sign and copying the URL that appears in the address bar. Much more 'ethical' to bring them here than to copy what you see here and send it somewhere else.

If it is a picture that I would like to save in my Quilt Folder, I right click on a picture and then It shows me the site to choose from. I choose " save as" left click on that choice , and it is sent to " my pictures". Then from there I can copy and paste it where ever I want to move it.
