I just want to smack that groundhog for lying! LOL We are getting upto 10 inches of snow.

There has been some crazy weather lately and I know I'm staying in as much as I can. Hope everyone else is too. :)

Thursday it was almost 70 here and tonight it will be 16. I can't decide what to wear in the mornings. Sigh.

Yeah, they teased us! 70 degrees for a couple of days, now tonight we're expecting 4-7 inches of snow after sleeting for a couple of hours beforehand :evil:

You guys can keep the weather up there but I hope you all stay warm and safe. Hey at least with us being quilters we know we have plenty of blankets!!

My hubby is into Astronomy and he says that the sun runs on an 11-year cycle. Right now, the big orange is particularly active AND every 140 years, the flares and solar upheaval (sp) is particularly strong. You can guess where we are.....

So this whacky weather could be associated to solar activity.

Makes sense to me and we have been having some really crazy weather in the south!
