Does anyone have a solution as to rid crickets!!!!! At nite we here them under our air- conditioner and they drive us crazy!!! Sometimes they get in the house too!!!Summer was good until about two weeks ago and now they are everywhere! I spray inside with Ortho bug spray, works inside but outside ...no good. Thank you for your help.

I get the crickets this time each year as well. They usually manage to get into the garage. I always wonder how they can survive so long in there without food & water. I spray around the foundation of the house pretty often this time of the year to keep the spiders & cricket population down. With the rain, you have to keep spraying.

eewwwwww I hate them...especially when I open the storage buildings and they jump out at me...my little Devil Doggie however, loves them...she thinks they are toys...but goofy as she is, she never hurts them...just sticks her nose by them and watches them jump!!! Naomi

Oh Crickets ! I live on the lower level of a 2 sty apt bldg; nearest the "forest". I have crickets also and they drive me nuts.....the ones that I'm most frightened of are the ones that are HUGE with long hairy looking legs...almost like a giant spider that jumps ! A neighbor calls them "cave crickets"...don't do caves so I don't know.I've sprayed Ortho something spray and it seems to work, but as dry as it has been here in the south I guess they are looking for water and cooler temps.

The other a.m. I got up and went to kitchen...outside the front door I could hear the chripping of crickets and almost smiled thinking well if they can't come inside they'll sit at the door and make noise.....I hate to spray but hate for them to be inside even more.

So, I just stepped away and went in the kitchen to get ice and what greeted me ? A Cricket !!

Enough is enough...guess I'll have to spray again....

Get a cat! We get crickets in our basement this time every year, the big ones with the long legs. A few years ago our new cat found them and became quite the hunter. She kills them and regularly brings the "drumsticks" upstairs to the family room or kitchen, where we find them when they crunch under our feet. Ugh. We've said several times that we should have named her Cricket (her name is Tribble, after the 1960s Star Trek episode of the purring furballs that took over the spaceship).

I'm going to Home Depot today to see what they recommend for these horrible critters!
I appreciate all of the help..just knowing I'm not alone in this situation is comforting.
