I just had to share these. I noticed this deer standing by my drive one morning. She stood absolutely still for the longest time. I slipped out on my front porch to take pictures & after watching her for a few minutes I realized she was nursing a baby.

I love to see them but there are time I wish they would go somewhere else. They ate my day lilies, tomatoes plants and they were next to the house.O I forgot that they ate leaves off the plum tree and the blueberry bushs.

Yes, they ate my beautiful hydrangia flowers - amont other flowers, and I think they are peeing on my lawn as I now have big dead spots that I can't get the grass to grow again.

I have deer around my house all the time. I've had a garden (lots of tomatoes) every summer for probably the last 20+ yrs. I also have day lilies, hosta, etc. & I've never once had deer bother them. I don't do anything special to keep them away from my plants. Maybe we just have an understanding with each other - you leave me alone & I'll leave you alone!
