Today DS (age 14) participated in his first ever 4H fun fair (a dress rehearsal for the county fair in July). He got 6th place for sheep showmanship, 3rd place for Suffolk ewe lamb and a trophy for being the most improved in the club. Not bad for his first year in 4H.

Congradulation! Your son needs an extra, JOB WELL DONE!!!
As a retired 4-H leader, I know how hard these kids work (IMHO) not enough creadit is given to them between working with there animals, the record keeping, and everything else that go with it vet. bills, fence building and reparir, ect. But over my 25 years as an active leader I can honestly say 4-H does build strong adults. I still hear from some of my kids and its a joy to see how well they are doing and there familys. Again Congrats. to your son and keep up the good work!
