Detective work, need some ideas

Thank you all for the wonderful ideas and offers.
We don't know to much about her, they haven't seen each other since they were children. I will try out a few of your suggestions, my daughter has a Facebook account I might be able to use.

You can email a person through Facebook, too. If they have a FB page, they have a FB email address.
I have Ancestry, if I can help PM me the info.
I am adopted and have found my birthfamily...mainly through search groups, but many relatives through Facebook.
Good luck!

Since you know name and town, try 411.com. As well as the various geneaology sites - most say they require memberships but in reality do not. Am doing a similar thing now for two 'new' half-siblings. I've been able to find names/addresses without social or geneaology site memberships. I don't 'do' social media either. Good luck in your quest. You will get there.

You can try a search on Intelius.com. It will ask you for her name and city or state she resides in, and basic information will be available for free. Additional information (address, phone number etc) cost a little more money. Good luck with your search.

You can search county public records (for free) to see if she owns a home. Go to netronline.com and drill down to the county's public records for deeds or tax assessments. You can find tax billings and addresses. Good luck.

Call the town's area code and 555-1212, to see if there's a phone number for her, you can also try calling that town's post office and see if they know her (small towns like mine know everyone) or ask if you send a letter to their post office is there any way they can/would forward it to her.
