My wonderful husband / Papa worked on our grand daughter some school pants. She is starting Kindergarten in about 10 days. We wanted to give her something a little different than what others would be wearing. She's into the "rock star" looks from Disney.

Soooo what could be better than a "flaming guitar" in glittering pinks and some wild flowers in metallic threads. The flowers are in all shades but didn't show up too well on the pictures...but they are super girlie.

Think it's pretty neat that a grandpa would help make some girlie stuff as a surprise. Can't wait to see how she likes them.

Opened up the pant leg so we could decorate them.

Wow... what a guitar!

the bottom flowers are glitterly pink with light blue butterflies...wish it would have shown up in the picture

They're very cute. She's really grandpop's little girl!! Don't forget to take her picture wearing them.

I should brag too that he does all the cutting of the "jumper" strings and then all the trimming and removing of the stabilizers too. Not an easy job for guys with larger fingers...but he does it with tweezers and patience.
